Membership Information:

If you love the beach and want to be in an awesome house with people ranging in age from their 20's-40's, here's the information you need to know on how to join us for the Summer 2008:

Our house is located at 16D Rodney Avenue, ocean block (map and directions).

We have a fully furnished, 5 bedroom, 3 and a half bath, 3-level townhouse just steps from the beach! We have cable and internet service, A/C, recently remodeled kitchen, washer/dryer and beautiful views of the ocean and bay from our 4 decks.

We open Memorial Day weekend, Friday May 23th and close Sunday, September 14th.

Half-shares are currently available! This entitles you to 8 weekends (including 1 holiday week) plus the option to guest 2 additional weekends.

Member scheduling will be done on a first come first serve basis in early May. Members will forward scheduling requests to our house coordinators. At Blue Surf, all members get bed space.

Maid service is included in your fee plus basic house amenities including coffee, laundry detergent, paper products, condiments, and house-sponsored cookouts/parties.

Seasonal parking passes are available at the Dewey Police station. Do not park at the house without one.

2008 PARKING PERMITS

Parking Permits and Parking Meters are in effect May 15 thru September 15 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m. seven (7) days a week. Vehicles parked on the right-of-way between the hours 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. must display a permit. Permit prices have been raised this year, as follows:

Season Permit (good on any vehicle)........................$150

Weekly (any consecutive 7 days)..................................$ 50

1 Day (Fri/Sat/Sun or any Major Holiday )....................$ 10

1 Day (Weekdays - Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu)........................$ 15

2 Day (For use on any two (2) consecutive days).......$ 20

3 Day (For use on any three (3) consecutive days)....$ 30

4 Day (For use on any four (4) consecutive days)......$ 40

Permits are available at Dewey Town Hall at 105 Rodney Avenue, open May 15 to September 15, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, and Saturday & Sunday from 10am-2pm. For more info, call (302) 227-1110.

Parking Meters are in use at selected sites; a parking permit is not valid at these locations.

GENERAL PARKING GUIDELINES

Failure to pay a parking fine within the prescribed time can result in a $25.00 fine increasing to $45.00 and a $40.00 fine increasing to $65.00; the vehicle is also is subject to the Town’s “Scoff Law” List.

It is the responsibility of property owners to designate private (off street) parking for their guests or tenants (as governed by the laws of the Town). As a general rule, telephone poles mark the line between the right-of-way (where permits are required) and private property.
